Question:

What is the difference between the FULL and UPDATE versions of the installers?

Answer:

The FULL version is the complete software package for users who do not have the Desktop Satellite installed or need to completely re-install it. The first time you install the Desktop Satellite you must use the FULL installer.

The UPDATE version is a smaller, quicker installer that updates a previously installed version to the latest software version. Unless otherwise noted, the UPDATER will only update the same majot release to the latest version. For example, a v2.1 Updater will only update a v2.0 satellite. It will not work with v1.0 satellites.

While it takes longer to download, it is never a bad idea to use the FULL installer.
